I just wrapped up my show in Lancaster, Ohio and I so enjoyed seeing everybody ! I'm now off traveling with good friends but I've also met
some wonderful new ones along the way. Spent some time in an early
Ohio tavern that was founded by Vermont settlers. Now I see why folks left Vermont to come to this beautiful fertile place and left their stone walls behind. The 17th C. lighting being used in the tavern has inspired me to go home and put my humble wicks to use.
In the coming days I will be headed to Illinois to see the rich soil of the heartland which speaks to my senses. Remember friends, the Midwest was settled very early. I will be seeking out soulful objects to bring back to my Vermont barn shop and upcoming shows.
